Achari Paneer Tikka is nothing but Paneer (Cottage Cheese) marinated in a yoghurt based masala mix and then shallow fried on a pan on stove top

Paneer is one such ingredient that it is so irresistible when it is super soft and fresh. Paneer cooked in Tandoor served in some of the famous restaurants are so yummy. The only thing we need to take care while preparing anything out of paneer is that it should be fresh, if not fresh, it turns harder and it becomes pungent. Achari Paneer Tikka is one of the delicious and famous snack made out of fresh Cottage cheese.

This recipe came suddenly in my mind one day, when I had left over paneer. I wanted to try something that came out of my mind on my own with the available ingredients at home. Then I remembered the left out mango pickle available. So I just remembered Achari Paneer Tikka shown in one of the cookery shows, and on similar lines I wanted to try Achari Paneer Tikka with small variation and on stove top.

This is a very easy and tasty paneer snack. I can say it’s a treat for spicy food lovers. Of course you can vary the amount of pickle used in this Achari Paneer Tikka and also I made it on a Roti pan instead of grilling it in the oven.
