Ingredients
  1. Capsicum Finely Chopped: 1 Cup
  2. Green Chillies: 1-2
  3. Mustard Powder (Optional)-1 spoon
  4. Salt: Taste
  5. Curd: 1 cup
For Tempering
  1. Oil: 1 tbsp.
  2. Black Gram (Urad Dal): ½ spoon
  3. Mustard and Cumin Seeds: 1 spoon each
  4. Asafoetida (Optional): A pinch
  5. Curry Leaves: 2-3 leaves
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan and once hot add in Black Gram and fry until they start turning brown.
  2. Now add in Mustard and Cumin Seeds Asafoetida and curry leaves.
  3. Add in sliced green chillies and fry for few seconds
  4. Now add in chopped in Capsicum and fry until they turn soft.
  5. Turn off the stove and let the mixture cool.
  6. Now add in salt, mustard powder and curd and mix well.
Notes
  1. If you are adding mustard powder, make sure the sautéed mixture is not hot, otherwise the raita turns bitter
