Ingredients
  1. Cooked Rice : 2 Cups
  2. Freshly Grated Coconut : ½ Cup
  3. Green Chillies : 2
  4. Chana Dal (Bengal Gram) : 1 tsp.
  5. Mustard and Cumin seeds : 1 spoon each
  6. Curry leaves : Few
  7. Red Chillies : 2 Optional
  8. Asafoetida : A pinch
  9. Salt : To taste
  10. Oil : 1tbsp
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan and once hot add in Chana Dal followed by mustard and cumin seeds.
  2. Add in curry leaves, broken red chillies, asafoetida and fry for a minute
  3. Now add in sliced green chillies and fry for another minute
  4. Add in cooked rice , salt and mix well
  5. Finally add in grated coconut and mix well and simmer it until the rice becomes hot
  6. Serve hot with papads.
